Commissioned Equine Art

I just finished this portrait of Smokey for the sister of one of my past clients whose  two jumpers are below. Being able to give animals owners something like this so they can always remember their most precious companions fills me with happiness. I have portraits of my childhood horse & dog that someone else was commissioned to do & I truly cherish them like I did those pets. Please excuse the “snapshot” of Smokey’s, I forgot to take a picture of it before framing it so have glare & reflections on the glass (& I was wearing red so see that reflected all over!)

Women & Horses

This is my dear friend, Cassandra, that has assisted me at many a wedding in San Diego. She is an avid Natural Horsewoman as you can see by her soft, open hands & great relationship with her horse, Jemmie.Cassandra is one of those people that is so beautiful, inside & out, & such a pleasure to be around & photograph. She needed a pic of her with her camera for her new website so you’ll see how perfect she looks holding a camera. She promises to visit & stay with us in Nashville & return the favor by taking pix of me with my horses……, ahem, Cassaaaandra, I’m waiting=)))))

Family session at Mt Woodson

Jen & Tim are one of my past weddings couples from San Diego. Would you look at the precious kids they have made since then, just adorable!!! Little June bug is at the age that it’s especially easy to get some great pix, she doesn’t walk on her own, so that strong independance isn’t installed yet. At least I think that’s the way it works=P

Soooooooo adorable!! Look at those eyes! One of my favorites, they are going to make a big one on canvas of this, which I think will be timeless. The  fact that Jen & Tim are perfectly in stride is symbolic too=)

Fall Family Photos in Nashville

I’m so remiss in posting many shoots from this year but just had to get these up of Teresa’s adorable family. We did a shoot on our property last year & this year we thankfully we didn’t miss the Autumn colors either.

Family Portraits at the Park

Michele & Pete are one of my wedding couples from years past & this is the second time I’ve had the honor of taking family pix for them. I think the triplets were just one year old when we did the first shoot on the corner where you turn into Presidio Park. It was an odd place but the by the time we all gathered I wasn’t feeling the light on the top of the hill & it was beautiful on that corner. Amazing getting three little munchkins to cooperate, there just aren’t enough hands but we made it happen, this time & last. They are growing into the prettiest little girls, gotta love them all so much, we had a blast!!Skip, skip, skip to my lou….Monkeys????Well contained!Gramma & Grampa lent extra hands=)SSSSSSSSSOOOOOOOOOOOOO CUTE!!!!!
